one and a half years ago, i made the decision to join council.
it wasnt a hasty decision, but i had many times during my term asked myself if this is the life i wanted.
i believe that many councillors, at different points of time, had felt the same way i did.
but the good thing is, none of us gave up.

one of the reasons i joined council is to dance on stage as an SCDC member.
i had my wish fufilled.
but not every councillors were as lucky as i were.
some failed to fufilled their dreams.
but i think we all reached our common goal, which is to unite as a council and go beyond colleagues.

we really did.
we are more than friends.
we are more than council mates.
we are more than a bunch of people who slack together in the rft and munch like nobody's business.
we are more than a bunch of beach-goers who frequent palawan.
we are more than a bunch of cleaners who cleans canvas sheets under the rain.
we are more than a bunch of hungry people barbequeing under the rain.
we are more than a bunch of students who climbed over the gate at night in order to get out of the school.

we are none more than a bunch of fools who couldn't bear to leave each other and go our seperate ways and that's why we are sticking together everyday in order to surpress the pain that cuts deep into our hearts.

these are the 20 great people i met one and a half years ago when i made the decision to join council. during our council term, we laughed, we cried, we cursed, we prayed, we sweat, we bled, we won and we lost. after all that i've lost and gained, i've learned one thing:

i never once regretted joining council. for it was where i found my special thing.
